JUDGE JENNIFER DOROW RECEIVES ANOTHER KEY ENDORSEMENT

District Attorney Eric Toney Endorses Judge Jennifer Dorow for Wisconsin Supreme Court

Waukesha, Wis. (December 13, 2022) – Eric Toney, Fond du Lac County’s District Attorney, who won the GOP nomination for attorney general in 2022, has announced today his endorsement of Judge Jennifer Dorow for Wisconsin Supreme Court. Toney is also the president of the Wisconsin District Attorney’s Association.

“Judge Dorow and I come from law enforcement families and share the same compassion and respect for our law enforcement,” said Toney. “Judge Dorow also shares my passion for public safety, the rule of law, and fighting for justice. She is a respected leader on the bench and is exactly what Wisconsin needs on the state’s highest court – a conservative committed to upholding the rule of law. I’m proud to endorse Judge Dorow, and I ask that you join me in voting for Judge Dorow to be our next Supreme Court Justice.”

Toney was first elected as Fond du Lac County District Attorney in 2012 and is serving in his third term. During his tenure as District Attorney, the office added specialized prosecutors to handle juvenile, domestic violence, and sexual assault cases to better support victims. Toney also helped lead a successful effort to bring a drug court to Fond du Lac County. Toney has also been recognized as a leader among Wisconsin prosecutors having been elected as the President of the Wisconsin District Attorneys’ Association, a bipartisan statewide group of prosecutors.

“I’m honored to have District Attorney Eric Toney’s endorsement,” said Judge Dorow. “Eric is one of the most respected law enforcement voices in our state and has a track record of innovation in how he runs his office. Having his support is a tremendous boost to my campaign for Wisconsin Supreme Court.”

Dorow, who is Chief Judge for the Third Judicial District, has been on the bench for 11 years. She was recently chosen by her peers to serve as chief of the chief judges. Prior to becoming a judge, Dorow worked as an attorney in the Waukesha County District Attorney’s office and private practice. Her husband, Brian, served in various capacities in law enforcement, and they have three children.
